One name stands alone atop the basketball all-time scorers banner in Sorgenti Arena. With 2,065 career points, Isaac Greer ’07 was the Griffins modern super star. Forever linked with his point guard, Shawn Bolling ’07, Greer led the Griffins to a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Semifinal appearance in his sophomore season, 2004-2005. That year he averaged a Chestnut Hill College record, 22.8 points-per-game (PPG) and 4.4 rebounds-per-game (RPG), while also tallying 54 assists, 16 blocks, 69 steals. Greer won the NEAC Player of the Year award in his senior campaign, 2006-2007, leading the Griffins back to the NEAC Championships on a 19.4 PPG scoring average, 6.6 RPG, 57 assists, 31 blocks, and 55 steals. A member of the inaugural Chestnut Hill College men’s basketball team and a two-time captain, Greer was a three-time All-NEAC First Team performer and as a senior (2006-2007) he was recognized with a National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District Team selection and D3hoops.com All-Middle Atlantic Region Team selection. On the day of his induction, Greer is the Griffins all-time leader in nine categories, most notably; scoring (19.5 PPG), total points (2,065), three-points made (189), free throws made (362), and steals (227).
