Fisher Repeats as CACC Men’s Cross Country Runner Of the Week with Win at Blue Apple Invitational
New Haven, Conn. - (9/30/2019) – Senior Zigmund Fisher (Chadds Ford, Pa.) made it two meets in a row and two weeks in a row as the garnered the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week award with his first place finish (1st, 28:37.1) at Penn State Brandywine’s Blue Apple Invitational. Fisher’s first place finish in the men’s eight kilometer (8K) run helped Chestnut Hill College to a fourth place finish (4th of 11, 142 points).
Following Fisher in the 8K, freshman Chris Johnson (Wildwood Crest, N.J.) ran 23rd (32:52.3), senior Alex Lynch (Manchester, N.J.) crossed 33rd (33:42.7), senior Jonathan Boc (Jersey City, N.J.) placed 55th (37:15.4), freshman John Munroe (Narberth, Pa.) finished 63rd (39:40.5), and freshman Terrance Cunnane (Glenside, Pa.) came in 80th (42:54.9).
