GAME MANAGEMENT STAFF

Job Description: The Game Management Staff is an essential part of every athletic event at Chestnut Hill College. The responsibilities of the Game Management Staff include, but are not limited to; game clock, scoreboard operation, ball chasers, penalty box supervision, field preparation, assembly, and breakdown. Office work is also available.

Job Qualifications: Willingness to work on week nights and weekends during home athletic contests. Those with an interest or advanced knowledge of sports and athletics will receive priority, especially those whom have previous work experience in a sports information office at the high school or collegiate level. High quality communication skills are a plus.

ATHLETIC TRAINING ROOM ASSISTANT

Job Description: Students will assist the athletic trainers in daily tasks such as paperwork, game and practice preparation, laundry, etc…

Job Qualifications: High energy and strong communication skills. Individuals must be comfortable working with issues of confidentiality.

ATHLETICS OFFICE ASSISTANT

Job Description: Students will assist with general office work including; filing, data entry, answering phone calls, and various other duties assigned by the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Administrative Staff.

Job Qualifications: Student must possess good interpersonal and speaking skills, ability to multitask and organize. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software is a plus. Student must also be able to receive Federal Work Study. Student should be available to work most days at a total of 10-15 hours per week.

ATHLETIC COMMUNICATIONS PHOTOGRAPHER

Job Description: Student will be responsible for attending and photographing as many athletic events as possible during the year. The student photographer will work with the Athletic Communications Coordinator to generate media for use on www.GriffinAthletics.com.

Those with an interest or advanced knowledge of photography and sports will receive priority, especially those whom have previous work experience in a sports information office at the high school or collegiate level. ATHLETIC COMMUNICATIONS STATS STAFF

Job Description: Students will help with game-day responsibilities of the Athletic Communications Coordinator. These duties include but are not limited to; statistical spotting, statistical recording and data entry, official book keeping, and assisting game management staff with event set-up and take-down.

Those with an interest or advanced knowledge of sports and athletics will receive priority, especially those whom have previous work experience in a sports information office at the high school or collegiate level. Job Description: Supervises student-athletes in a study hall environment. Maintains the appropriate study hall environment by enforcing study hall rules and guidelines. Communicates aims/objectives to students in a well-planned, organized, and concise manner. Submits Microsoft Excel study hall reports, tracking student-athlete attendance, facility issues, and/or concerns of CHC student-athletes.
