New Castle, Del. - (9/10/2021) -Â Chestnut Hill College (0-2) played the first of three matches scheduled for their stay at the Wildcat Regional Invitational today with a competitive 3-1 (22-25, 25-21, 21-25, 21-25) loss to Franklin Pierce University (3-2). The Ravens pulled away late in the opening set, separating from an 18-18 stalemate with a 7-4 run to their first point (1-0). The Griffins evened the score at 1-1 with a 25-21 win in the second set as sophomore setterÂ

Henielys Ramos (Trujilo Alto, Puerto Rico), the Griffins concluded their stay at event with back-to-back wins over the College of St. Rose (2-4) and Le Moyne College (1-6). Ramos scored a dozen (12) kills and four aces against the Golden Knights, before downing the Dolphins with a career-highs in points (26.0), kills (20) and aces (6). She was recognized as a member of the all-tournament team.
