Antall Awarded Third Mention on CACC Honor Roll
New Haven, Conn. – (10/7/2013) – Helping to redefine Chestnut Hill College cross country, freshman
Paige Antall (Hanover Township, Pa.) earned her third mention on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Weekly Honor Roll. For the second straight meet, Antall paced the Griffins to a program-best time, doing so this week with her 12
th place run at the Goldey-Beacom College Fall Classic.
For the second meet in a row, the Griffin women ran to a new five-kilometer (5K) record with an average time of 24:06.01. Once again, Antall led the Chestnut Hill College women's cross country team with her time of 22:23.04 (12th place). She was supported by a 22:56.72 run from sophomore
Samantha McCarthy (Woodstock, Ga.), 17th, and a host of Griffins that crossed just after the 24-minute mark. Freshman
Susan Abraham (Staten Island, N.Y.) led the group with a 36th place finish, 24:36.24, which also included a 40th place finish from sophomore
Rachel Barnett (Schnecksville, Pa.), 25:01.11, a 43rd place finish from junior
Lauren Sitler (Douglasville, Pa.), 25:05.32, and a 45th place finish from senior
Dana Klepadlo (Pittston, Pa.), 25:10.31. Also taking part in the race, senior
Gina Davidson (Philadelphia, Pa.) came in 49th (25:21.91); freshman
Michaela Uttley (Douglasville, Pa.) ran 55th (25:55.76), freshman
Courtney Glennan (Sewell, N.J.) crossed in 27:29.22 (63rd), and senior
Rosalina Iott (Groton, Conn.) in 27:48.58 (65th).
The cross country teams run next at the Collegiate Track Conference Championships (CTCC) on Saturday, October 19.
