Regina Trabosh (Norristown, Pa.) was honored with the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC)’s Defensive Player of the Week award. Trabosh offered 7.13 digs-per-set (57 digs/8 sets) during a 1-1 week en route to winning the award for the fourth time this season.
With Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) postseason at stake, emotions ran high at the Holy Family University's Campus Center on Wednesday, November 5. The Tigers rallied to take the opening set, 25-21, but the Griffins evened the affair by winning a tightly-played second set 25-23. Unfortunately, the home team paced the Griffins through the third, 25-23, and fourth set, 25-18, in order to earn the critical league win by a 3-1 final. Sophomore outside hitter

Rachel Biro (Nazareth, Pa.) combined for 30 kills thanks to a 45-assist night from junior setter
Alyssa Tamsing (Ventura, Calif.) and a united defensive effort led by Trabosh’s 26 digs.

Kaitlyn Schock (Allentown, Pa.) out on a high note on Saturday, November 8, closing out the 2014 season with a 3-1 (25-12, 25-22, 19-25, 25-22) Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory over visiting Concordia College (NY).
Biro led the way with 23.0 points on 22 kills and a pair of block assists, while Schock offered eight kills without an error in her final collegiate match. Tamsing guided the Griffin attack with 44 assists, and
Trabosh contributed a match-high 31 digs to lead the defensive effort.
At the conclusion of the regular season, Trabosh ranked atop the CACC in digs-per-set (5.94 d/s) and digs (636), breaking her own school records in both categories.
Chestnut Hill College concluded the 2014 campaign with a 14-16 overall record and a 9-10 mark in CACC play.
