New Haven, CT – (10/11/2010) – A natural hat-trick in Chestnut Hill College’s 8-0 defeat of Lincoln University powered freshman forward Kaelyn Pizarro (Berlin, NJ) to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week title. She is the third Griffin newcomer to be recognized with the league’s rookie award. Junior forward Lauren Riiff (Clementon, NJ) was also recognized for her play with an honorable mention for the week’s top leaguer performer.

After an opening goal from freshman forward Brittany Boles (Broomall, PA), Pizarro recorded the next three Griffin tallies in the 8-0 triumph.
