Wildgoose Wields Pair of Powerful Performances To Garner Seventh CACC Honor Roll Recognition Â

New Haven, Conn. - (2/12/2018) – For the seventh time this season, the play of forward
Jaeda Wildgoose (Somerset, N.J.) has attracted league acclaim as the Chestnut Hill College’s junior captain earned Central Athletic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll recognition by averaging 19.5 points-per-game (PPG) and 8.0 rebounds-per-game (RPG) in a 1-1 week of league play versus Georgian Court University (W, 73-67 on 2/7) and Caldwell University (L, 68-80 on 2/10).

Chestnut Hill College (15-9, 11-4) battled their way to a CACC Championship Tournament berth with Wednesday (February 7) night’s 73-67 win over South Division rival, Georgian Court University. Wildgoose led the Scarlet and Gold with 17 points, allowing freshman guard
Cassie Sebold (Willow Grove, Pa.) to seal the deal with a pair of late free throws (71-67, 0:10). Wildgoose’s 17 points came with eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals; it was her 22 double digit scoring performance of the season.

Despite her best effort, the Griffins were not able to keep the Senior Day celebration going in an 80-68 loss to Caldwell University on Saturday, February 10. Wildgoose was 8-of-11 (.727) from the floor and 6-of-8 (.750) from the free throw line to total a team-high 22 points for Chestnut Hill College. She also recorded eight rebounds and two blocks in the process.

Wildgoose currently ranks among the league’s top-10 in several statistical categories, including free throw percentage (6
th, .816, 102-of-125), RPG (4
