West Point, N.J. ā (11/6/2018) āĀ Behind the explosive play of senior running backĀ Raevon Floyd-BennettĀ (Union City, N.J.) and another impressive performance from senior linebackerĀ Kyle Johnson-HackettĀ (Philadelphia, Pa.), Chestnut Hill College secured a second straight 4-3 finish and second place in the Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) South Division (3-1) with a 26-6 win over Caldwell University. For their efforts in the victory, they were respectively honored as the CSFL Special Teams and Defensive Players of the Week.

Floyd-Bennet totaled 176 all-purpose yards as he returned a punt 65 yards in the first quarter (7-0, 3:38 1QTR) and put the game on ice with a 54-yard run to pay dirt late in the fourth quarter (26-6, 3:50 4QTR). He ran for 97 yards on 13 carries (7.5 yards/carry), caught a pass for another eight, and totaled 71 punt return yards to third game of 150 all-purpose yard of more. His punt return - the longest in the CSFL since 2015 - was the second straight turnover for Caldwell College (0-7, 0-4 CSFL South), who turned the ball over four times and netted only 90 yards against the Chestnut Hill College (4-3, 3-1 CSFL South) defense. Johnson-Hackett captained that Scarlet and Gold defense with another brilliant performance, offering a team-high seven tackles (6 solos, 1 assist); four of which were for a loss (16 yards), and two of which were sacks (8 yards), bringing his season sack total to 7.5. The Griffins sacked the Cougars eight times in all.
