Morris Makes CACC Men’s Track & Field Weekly Honor Roll with First Place Performance in Twilight 1,500-Meter
New Haven, Conn. - (4/16/2019) – Junior Aaron Morris (Philadelphia, Pa.) placed first in the 1,500-Meter (4:13.26) and contributed to a third place finish in the 4x400-Meter Relay (3:39.63) at the Gwynedd Mercy University Mid-Week Twilight Invitational to garner a spot on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men’s Track and Field Weekly Honor Roll.
Morris paced the field in the 1,500-Meter with his time of 4:13.26. He was joined in the race by classmate, Alex Lynch (Manchester, N.J.) who placed 14th with a time of 4:50.36. Later in the day, Morris joined senior Raevon Floyd-Bennett (Union City, N.J.), freshman Donoven Griffin (?), and Charlie Verna (?) for a third place effort in the 4x400-Meter Relay; Morris ran third in the event, helping the Griffins to a season’s-best time of 3:39.63.
