Albert Stroble came to Chestnut Hill College as an assistant director of athletics and a head coach for men's and women's tennis programs in the winter of 2006-2007. While serving as an Associate Director of Athletics at the College, Stroble has elevated the Griffins men's and women's tennis programs into perennial challengers for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) crown.

Since that time, the men's team placed three student-athletes on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Conference Team, including 2009 CACC Rookie of the Year, Joe Boyle. On the women's side, Stroble has led the Griffins to two straight CACC Championship Tournament appearances (2011-2012 & 2012-13) while boasting ten All-CACC selections and two CACC Coach of the Year awards (2010-2011 & 2011-2012). Most recently, the Griffins have ranked as high as #4 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Regional Rankings and #50 in the ITA DII National Rankings (6/4/2013).

Administratively, Stroble is highly involved in tennis on both the regional and national levels. He is currently the East Region Chair for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Women's Ranking Committee. Stroble also serves as the CACC Coaches Chair for men's and women's tennis. Additionally, he is a member of the ITA Women's Tennis National Ranking Committee and the East Region Ranking Committee for both the ITA and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

Stroble's success in coaching stems from a standout collegiate career at Marywood University. As a student-athlete, Stroble was a three-time singles champion in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) and was recognized on the All-PAC First Team from 1997-1999. Stroble received the team's Most Valuable Player (MVP) award in 1997 and 1999, while also leading Marywood University to their first PAC Championship in 1998. He finished his collegiate career at Marywood University with a program record of 36 singles wins. Coach Stroble emphasizes the aspects of the game that made him a successful student-athlete; a philosophy is built on fundamentals, good conditioning, and dedication, both on the court and in the classroom.

A native of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, Stroble earned a bachelor's degree in physical education from Marywood University in 1999 and in 2001, earned a master's degree in sport and recreation administration from Temple University. He currently resides in Collegeville, Pennsylvania with his wife Erin and their daughters, Anna and Claire.
