Chris Moore (Berlin, NJ ) connected on a cross before the 20-minute mark to place Chestnut Hill College ahead of Felician College 1-0 in this afternoon's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest. The Griffins held the advantage for fifty one minutes before the Golden Falcons tied the affair with 18:42 remaining. The stalemate endured through the remainder of regulation and continued through two overtime frames to end in a 1-1 tie.
Reid deposited his second goal of the season on a one-touched cross from Moore at 19:57. Chestnut Hill College (2-7-2, 1-5-2) shut down Felician College (2-10-1, 0-6-1) and held a 1-0 lead heading into the break. The Griffin defense and freshman goalkeeper
Michael Goldstein (Pennsauken, NJ ) blanketed the Golden Falcon attackers; senior forward
Quincy Small (Linden, Guyana) led Felician College with four shots but he really changed the contest with a cross to senior defenseman Diego Ocampo (Dover, N.J.) at 71:18. Ocampo scored the cross to tie the contest and force overtime. Goldstein and freshman goalkeeper
David Lo Blue (Elwood Park, N.J.) kept the affair even to facilitate the conference tie. Goldstein made five saves, Lo Blue made three.
The men's soccer team travels to Holy Family University for their next CACC contest. It is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start on Thursday, October 15.
