Lyndhurst, N.J. – (10/10/2009) – At 62:07, junior midfielder Tara Morey (Pittsgrove, NJ ) knotted the score at 1-1 on a converted penalty kick. Chestnut Hill College and Felician College denied each other through regulation and overtime, to a 1-1 tie in this afternoon's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest.

Chestnut Hill College (9-4-1, 6-2-1) and Felician College (5-7-1, 4-4-1) tied in shots, 17-17, and the opposing freshman goalkeepers nearly matched in saves. After a scoreless first half, the Griffins forced play early in the second frame. Freshman forward Maggie Faselt (Newtown, NJ ) rang a strike off the crossbar in the 48^th-minute, unfortunately, the Golden Falcons grabbed the lead two minutes later with a tick-tack-toe play resulting in a goal from sophomore forward Stephanie Jimenez (Fair Lawn, N.J.). Morey's penalty kick evened the game with less than 28 minutes remaining. The contest held even for the remainder of regulation and through an indecisive overtime. In net, the Golden Falcons' Allie Couzo (Sayreville, N.J.) made nine saves and for the Griffins, Jessica Veazey (Middletown, DE ) made eight saves.

The women's soccer team heads next to Wilmington University for a 3:00 p.m. CACC contest on Tuesday, October 13.
