Box Score Lafayette Hill, PA – (10/1/2011) – The scoring came fast and often after the opening kickoff in this afternoon's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest. Caldwell College recorded the first goal, but Chestnut Hill College had an answer for the Cougars first-half scores to keep the contest knotted at halftime, 2-2. Following the break, the Cougars captured the advantage on headed corner kick; it would prove to be the game-winning tally as they escaped the Griffins with a 3-2 win.
Sophomore forward
Bobby Stocklin (Mt. Laurel, MD) brought all things even at 2-2, completing a cross from fellow forward, junior
Darryl Richardson Jr. (Turnersville, NJ) at 14:26. Caldwell College (5-4-1, 2-2) pushed the tempo for the remainder of the first half, outshooting the Griffins 10-5, but the score would hold to intermission. At the start of the second half, the Cougars and Griffins took turns attacking their opposing goals, but it was the visitors who remained one step ahead with a third score coming at 56:37, 3-2. Junior forward Facundo Zalazar (Buenos Aries, Argentina) scored the deciding tally, heading home a goal off the corner restart from fellow forward, freshman Evan Teitelbaum (Homdel, NJ).
Teitelbaum scored his goal earlier in the game; freshman defenseman Arben Cosovic (Staten Island, NY) scored the Cougars other first-half goal. Junior goalkeeper Brian Agostini (North Caldwell, NJ) made two saves in the win.
In addition to his three-point afternoon, Richardson led the Griffins with four shots. Junior goalkeeper
