Box Score Purchase, NY – (10/23/2011) – Senior forward Lauren Riiff (Clementon, NJ) netted three goals and sophomore midfielder Steph Litty (Marlton, NJ) provided three assists in this afternoon's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest, as Chestnut Hill College continued their rollercoaster season with a 5-0 win over Concordia College. Riiff opened the scoring with an unassisted tally; Litty would set up the next three Griffin goals on corner kick opportunities, before Riiff finished off the Clippers with another individual effort.

Just past the 24-minute mark, a Concordia College (2-12-0, 0-11-0) turnover placed the ball in a dangerous position. Riiff seized the opportunity and gave Chestnut Hill College (8-8-0, 6-5-0) the 1-0 advantage by striking the ball to the bottom right corner of the Clipper goal. Only a minute later (25:27), Litty located sophomore midfielder Lauren Nolte (Wilmington, DE) on a corner kick for her second goal of the season. Litty did it again at 30:42, finding Riiff with another corner kick and landing the Griffins a 3-0 halftime lead. A third corner kick goal organized by Litty and junior midfielder Lyss Radetich (Sewell, NJ) at 58:47 made it 4-0 Griffins and another Riiff unassisted strike off a turnover propelled the Griffins the 5-0 triumph.

Freshman midfielder Ebelyse Guaranda (South Ozone Park, NY) led the Clipper effort with four shots, while junior goalkeeper Jessica Nanan (Queens, NY) made five saves.

Riiff finished the affair with eight shots, as she has now recorded five games with at least three goals in her career. This performance pushed her 2011 season goal total to career-high, 15 goals. Junior goalkeeper Jessica Veazey (Middletown, DE) made five saves in the win (8-6).

The women's soccer team challenges Wilmington University in their next CACC contest; a 3:30 p.m. road game on Tuesday, October 25.
