Box Score Rutherford, NJ – (10/8/2011) – After a scoreless first half it was Felician College who owned the second period of play. The Golden Falcons scored in the 74th, 76th and 87th minutes to defeat Chestnut Hill College 3-0 in this afternoon's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest.
 
Chestnut Hill College (5-6-1, 3-4-0) trailed Felician College (5-6, 2-0) 18-8 in shots and 5-2 in corner kicks, but the Griffins had their best opportunity when the affair was still scoreless. Sophomore defenseman Darius Gbunblee (Philadelphia, PA) had a breakaway chance in the 50^th-minute after two Golden Falcon defenders ran into each other. Unfortunately, a Golden Falcon forward ran down Gbunblee and made a slide tackle before a shot could be fired. The Golden Falcon goals found net before the Griffins got another opportunity and freshman goalkeeper Rafal Krauze (Randolph, NJ) made both saves necessary to maintain the shutout.
 
Freshman goalkeeper Dave Sullivan (Kutztown, PA) made 3 saves, but took the loss for the Griffins. Senior forward Gavin Reid (Dundee, Scotland totaled five shots.
 
The men's soccer team breaks from their CACC schedule for a 7:00 p.m. contest at Bloomsburg University on Tuesday, October 11.
