Danielle Spinuzza (Williamstown, N.J.) at 55:36, 1-0. The Griffins remained on the offensive after the tally with Williams consistently pressuring the Warrior goal until finally finding success in the 77
th minute. Senior midfielder
Marykate McShane (Lebanon, Pa.) made the run to the Warrior endline before crossing the ball in front of the goal mouth, to Williams' oncoming foot, 2-0. The Warriors followed the second Griffin goal with a short reprise, but despite 12 shots in the frame they were unable to score before the final horn.
Sophomore defender Julia Losert (Germany) headlined the Warrior effort, but it was sophomore forward Cyan Jean-Baptiste (Toronto, Canada) who led them in shots with six. Junior goalkeeper Madeline Barbarino (Staten Island, N.Y.) made two saves in the loss (5-7-2).
Williams took four of the Griffins nine shots to score her third goal of the season. Junior goalkeeper
Samantha Pauls (South Plainfield, N.J.) made eight saves in the win (4-8-1) and got some help from her teammates, who made an additional two saves in defense of the net.
