Juan Amaya (Cartagena, Colombia) teamed added the second-half insurance in a 2-0 victory over the Chargers.
Chestnut Hill College (4-3-1, 3-1-1 CACC) attacked the Dominican College (4-4, 2-2) goal off the kickoff. Amaya lead the initial assaults, but the Griffins eventually shifted their focus through freshman forward

Tristan Johns (Marmora, N.J.) at 40:09, 1-0. After halftime played evened out but the Griffins only extended their advantage with a second goal at 74:33, when Amaya chased down a long serve and touched the goal-kick destined ball to the scoring foot of Wamulume, 2-0. Scrambling to get back into the affair, the Chargers fired several shots, but they had no real chance to score.
Junior midfielder Manuel Valenica (New Rochelle, N.Y.) and senior forward Jorge Zubillaga (Punta del Este, Uruguay) each recorded four shots apiece for the Chargers. Senior goalkeeper Andres Ruiz (Medellin, Colombia) made five saves in the loss (4-4).
Fussen totaled four shots while O'Connell and junior forward
Channing Couillard (Jacksonville, Fla.) each offered three strikes each. Freshman goalkeeper
James Jackson (Sewell, N.J.) made five saves and collected the win (4-2-1) as he and the Griffin defense combined for their shutout of the season.
The men's soccer team plays next on Monday, September 30, when they break from CACC play to host East Stroudsburg University in a 7:00 p.m. contest.
