Juan Amaya (Cartagena, Columbia) at 15:53, 1-0. Despite a 12-1 shot deficit, the Griffins held the advantage for nearly 20 minutes as Wilmington University (6-2, 3-1) eventually tied the affair at 34:33 on a connection between junior defenseman Joe Woodley (Gloucestershire, England) and sophomore midfielder Jamie Burridge (Hertfordshire, England), 1-1. The difference maker came in the 87
th minute with Barboza completing Casaletto's pass only a minute after entering the contest (85:52), 2-1.
Freshman defenseman Lance Berry (Bear, Del.) led the Wildcats with four shots while three others recorded three shots. Junior goalkeeper Frank Hall (Newark, Del.) recorded two saves in the loss (4-2).
Jaffe's two shots topped the Griffins shot totals, but efficiency was key as Amaya and Barboza both scored on their only attempts. Sophomore goalkeeper
