Box Score Orangeburg, N.Y. – (9/28/2014) – Senior midfielder Jennifer Becker (Hawthorne, N.J.) provided more than enough offense for Dominican College, who defeated Chestnut Hill College 3-0 behind her hat-trick performance in this afternoon's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) affair. Senior forward Morgan Fell (Boyertown, Pa.) was the only Griffin with multiple scoring opportunities as they spread seven shots among five players.
 
Dominican College (2-4-2, 2-2-2) was the aggressor early with two corner kick chances put the momentum in the Lady Chargers favor. After Chestnut Hill College (1-6, 1-4) offside violation and a series of fouls, the Lady Charges recorded the contest's first tally with Becker scoring her first of three goals off a feed from freshman defenseman Kaitlyn Montera (New City, N.Y.) at 28:20, 1-0. From that point, the Griffins held the Lady Chargers shotless to the break while taking four shots of their own over the remaining 16:49. The contest remained close until the 80^th minute, when Becker scored her second at 79:06, 2-0, and a third less than four minutes later, 3-0 (83:38).
 
Montera, freshman forward Solei Maldonado (Newark, N.J.), and senior midfielder Samantha Cala (Deer Park, N.Y.) all picked up an assist thanks to Becker's hot foot. Sophomore goalkeeper Gina Yannette (Dumont, N.J.) made five saves in the win (2-4-2).
 
Sophomore midfielder Alissa Battaglia (Merrick, N.Y.), junior Danielle Spinuzza (Williamstown, N.J.), senior midfielder Lauren Bjorke (Sinking Spring, Pa.), and senior defender Dakota Sheehan (Atco, N.J.) were responsible for a shot apiece, while Fell took two attempts. Senior goalkeeper Samantha Pauls (South Plainfield, N.J.) made two saves in the loss (1-6).
