Box Score Philadelphia, Pa. - (10/25/2016) – The Philadelphia University Lady Rams used a trio of first half goals, and added one more in the second half, to propel themselves to a 4-0 victory over Chestnut Hill College in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) women's soccer action at Ravenhill Field this afternoon.
With the loss, Chestnut Hill College (4-11-2, 2-9-1 CACC) sees their 2016 season come to a close while Philadelphia University (9-6-1, 8-3-1 CACC) awaits their seed for the 2016 CACC women's soccer tournament.
Philadelphia University netted their opening goal in the 16
th minute (15:44), when freshman forward Dena Noiseux (Merrimack, N.H.) tallied her fourth goal of the season. After corralling a loose ball in the center of the box, Noiseux turned and fired from 12 yards out to give the hosts the 1-0 advantage. Chestnut Hill College nearly knotted the game in the 24
th minute, but a shot by sophomore midfielder
Brianna Ferrell (Newtown Square, Pa.) was placed just wide.
The Lady Rams would double their advantage in the 26
th minute (25:29), with senior midfielder Megan Sullivan (West Deptford, N.J.) heading in the cross from sophomore defender Tessa Nykanen (Royersford, Pa.) from the edge of the six-yard box. Philadelphia University would tack on a late goal, with freshman midfielder Hanna Glass (Spring City, Pa.) slipping the ball across the goalmouth from the right post into the left side of the net, to enter the halftime break up 3-0.

Leah Peshkin (Haddon Heights, N.J.) wouldn't break, making a pair of critical saves to keep the deficit at three. The Lady Rams would continue to mount the pressure, however, finally breaking through in the 64
th minute (63:20) when senior defender Parisse Dawkins (Rahway, N.J.) took a cross from sophomore midfielder Brooke Haden (Freehold, N.J.) and potted her second goal of the season for the 4-0 edge.
Philadelphia University held a 24-9 advantage in shots, and a 5–1 advantage in corner kicks.
Peshkin (1-3-1) turned aside six shots for the Scarlet and Gold, with freshman forward
Cecilia DuMond (Philadelphia, Pa.) leading the Griffins with four shots for the game.
The Lady Rams junior goalkeeper Deanna Messner (Willow Grove, Pa.) (9-4-1) made two saves in the victory, her eighth shutout of the season. Dawkins, Sullivan, Glass, and Noiseux each tallied one goal, with Haden registering a game-high five shots in the victory.
