Bloomfield College (8-2-1, 6-1-1) scored on their first shot of the contest, a seeing-eye strike that weaved through the Chestnut Hill College (4-8, 3-5) defense and past the Griffin goalkeeper at 11:41, 1-0. The Scarlet and Gold recovered well from the initial strike, matching the Bears shot-for-shot the rest of the way to intermission. After halftime, Bloomfield College scored on three of their first four shots. The first came at 62:15 and it was followed by consecutive scores at 67:25, 69:22 (4-0). Casaletto interrupted what would become an eventual 6-1 Bear win with his fifth goal of the season. It came at 70:24, when Brito found him for the chip (4-1). The concluding Bloomfield College goals were added at the 82-minute mark (82:00) and 84:13.
Sophomore Nicholas Calabia (Palisades Park, N.J.) scored two of the Bear goals. Senior goalkeeper Jovan Stanojkovic (Pancevo, Serbia) made four saves in the win (8-2-1).
