Red Card Cancer began in the fall of 2009 on the campus of Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania and since 2010, RCC has been closely affiliated with the internationally renowned Sidney Kimmel Cancer Research Center at Johns Hopkins University. By engaging and working with all levels of the soccer community; players, coaches, and administrators, RCC seeks to become a vehicle for how the soccer community can fight cancer, together. The Griffins have joined in the fight this season, selling t-shirts to raise money for the RCC. On Saturday, the Scarlet and Gold will don RCC T-shirts during warm-ups and accept monetary donations throughout the day.
