Philadelphia, Pa. – (6/16/2020) – Chestnut Hill College Assistant Director of Athletics for Academic Success and Community Engagement Bethany Lang is pleased to announce that 130 student-athletes have been named to the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Spring 2020 Academic Honor Roll (.PDF). The recipients of the award – along the future members of the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Fall 2020 Academic Honor Roll – will be recognized during a 2020-2021 women's basketball/men's basketball doubleheader.
 
This semester's total of 130 student-athletes is 28 more than those who garnered the honor in spring of 2019 and 25 more than earned the honor in the fall of 2019 and it includes 28 Griffins who earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average (GPA). The top female team GPA from this past semester was the women's cross country team, who combined for a 3.94 GPA during the spring of 2020. Meanwhile, the top male team GPA for the spring of 2020 was the men's tennis team, who combined for a 3.75 semester GPA. As a whole, the Griffins recorded a 3.41 GPA for the spring of 2020.
 
In order to be recognized on the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Roll (.PDF), a student-athlete must earn a 3.5 grade point average or higher during the semester. The full account of student-athletes who made the grade for the spring of 2020 is available below;
