Philadelphia, Pa. – (6/22/2020) – Chestnut Hill College Assistant Director of Athletics for Academic Success and Community Engagement Bethany Lang is pleased to introduce the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) restructuring and officers for the 2020-2021 scholastic year. "We interviewed over 30 student-athletes and I believe we have identified some great leaders." The 2020-2021 Chestnut Hill College SAAC Executive Board will include;
 
President – Devon Horner (Jr. | Softball | Mt. Laurel, N.J.)
Vice President – Kerri Sullivan (So. | Women's Volleyball | Coatesville, Pa.)
Chair of Community Service - Ben Revak (Jr. | Men's Lacrosse | Aston, Pa.)
Chair of Student Wellness – Kayla Lombardi (So. | Women's Soccer | South Amboy, N.J.)
Secretary – Ashley Watson (Fr. | Women's Lacrosse | Bristol, Conn.)
 
"As you can see, we have also revamped our leadership positions. We reinforced our Chair of Community Service position as it now encompasses the Make-A-Wish fundraising responsibilities and added a Chair of Student Wellness." Lang explained the new position's purpose further, "This new Chair will focus on the needs of our student-athletes such as mental health, nutrition, and Title IX programming."
 
Horner earned her first appearance on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Softball All-Academic Team this past spring (2020). She is a three-time member of both the Chestnut Hill College Dean's List and Athletics Academic Honor Roll (Fall 2018, Fall 2019, Spring 2020) and was inducted to Chi Alpha Sigma; the National College Athlete Honor Society in 2020.
 
Like Horner, Sullivan - the Chestnut Hill College Student Government Association (SGA) Sophomore Class President - also earned her first CACC All-Academic Team appearance in 2019. She has been a member of both the Chestnut Hill College Dean's List and Athletics Academic Honor Roll for each semesters in the Scarlet and Gold (Fall 2018, Spring 2019, Fall 2019, Spring 2020).

Revak was another first-time CACC All-Academic Team member. The communications major won the 2020 CACC Men's Lacrosse Top XVI Award and was a 2018-2019 Division II Athletic Directors Association (D2ADA) Academic Achiever. He was inducted to Chi Alpha Sigma in 2019 and is a three-time member of both the Chestnut Hill College Dean's List and Athletics Academic Honor Roll (Fall 2018, Fall 2019, Spring 2020). 
 
Lombardi is a two-time member of both the Chestnut Hill College Dean's List and Athletics Academic Honor Roll (Fall 2019, Spring 2020), while Watson made her first appearance on the Chestnut Hill College Dean's List and Athletics Academic Honor Roll at the conclusion of the Spring 2020 semester.
