Box Score Orangeburg, N.Y. - (10/1/2021) - Chestnut Hill College (2-4-1, 1-3-0) visited Dominican College (5-3-0, 4-0-0) for this afternoon's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest. The Chargers greeted the Griffins with a pair of goals in the first half (4:15, 41:36), 2-0, before senior forwards Maddie Jimenez (Bensalem, Pa.) and Olivia Medeiros (Bristol, R.I.) connected for the lone Scarlet and Gold tally halfway through the 63rd minute, 2-1 (62:31). Unfortunately, the Medeiros' second goal of the season was not enough to prompt a Griffin comeback as Dominican College sealed the conference win, 4-1, with a pair of late-game goals (78:48, 81:36).

Sophomore defender Caitlin Geiger (Philadelphia, Pa.) directed the Chestnut Hill College offense and took a team-high three shots. Jimenez, Medeiors, and freshman forward Abigail Galazka (Philadelphia, Pa.) each recorded two shots, while the last Scarlet and Gold strike came from senior defender Alyssa Fournier (Sanford, Fla.). Senior goalkeeper Bri Hewlett (North Wales, Pa.) (2-4-1) made eight saves in the loss.

Chestnut Hill College continues their CACC schedule on Wednesday, October 6, when they visit Georgian Court University for a 3:00 p.m. kickoff.
