In the final day of competition at the Northeast Invitational, the Chestnut Hill College Bowling team went 1-3 in Baker Format matches as they concluded their regular season.
Opening the day against Mercyhurst, the Griffins lost 1170-806.Â
Maddie Gannon (Glenolden, Pa.) led the way for Chestnut Hill filling 10 of 10 frames while
Jess Hollabaugh (Folsom, Pa.) filled eight of ten.
The Griffins won their second match, defeating Felician University 870-809. Gannon filled nine of ten frames whiles
Chase Clifford (Philadelphia, Pa.) recorded a season high, filling seven of ten frames.
Division I St. Francis University (Pa.) defeated the Griffins in the third match 950-898. Hollabaugh led the way by filling eight of ten frames.
Felician got their revenge in the final match of the day, defeating the Griffins 931-903.Â
Hope Widmer (East Stroudsburg, Pa.), Eryn Moore (Bainbridge, Pa.) and Gannon all filled eight of ten frames. The Griffins concluded their competition, finishing in tenth place.
Overall, Gannon led the team, filling 85% of her frames and striking on over 51% of her attempts. Clifford had her best day of the season, filling 53% of her frames.
The Griffins finished the regular season with a 23-50 record as they head into the East Coast Conference Championships this weekend at the Coram Country Lanes in Coram, New York.
