The Chestnut Hill College Men's Tennis Team had their nine match winning streak snapped Wednesday afternoon as they lost their first conference game of the season 5-2 at Jefferson University.

The Griffins fall to 10-3 overall and 7-1 in Central Atlantic collegiate conference games. Jefferson improves to 12-3 overall and 6-1 in league games.
The Rams won two of the three doubles contests to take an early 1-0 lead. The Griffins' #3 doubles team of
Joao Sousa and
Domagoj Dugandzic were the only victors in the doubles portion of the match, earning a 6-2 triumph over Odissey Kavak and Mateo Navarro.
Jefferson went on to clinch the match by winning the first four singles contests to take a 5-0 lead. The Griffins got their first point when
Tom Pitchley earned a 7-6 (9-7), 7-6 (8-6) win over Hubert Theriault at #1 singles.Â
Joseph Gregory Kvint earned the Griffins final point of the match with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 win over Navarro at #3 singles.
The Chestnut Hill Men's Tennis team will play their final regular season game of the season when they host queens College on Saturday, April 15, 2022. The game will also serve as Senior day for Pitchley, Kvint,
Mark Gladkyy and women's tennis play
