The Chestnut Hill College Men's Tennis Team closed out their season Tuesday afternoon as they dropped a match against Bloomsburg University, 5-2, at the Burt Reese Tennis Center in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.
The Griffins finish the season with a 4-13 record.
The Huskies  took the doubles point to open the match, winning two of the three contests. Menno Raeymaekers and Arnaud Vangenechten lost at #1 doubles, to Segio Dilan and Vishesh Patel , 6-2. BU's Denis Dementev and Iu Casamitjana then defeated Alessio LeFevre and Filippo Relecom at #2 doubles 6-2. Siddharth Malik and Enzo Puppi won 6-3 at #3 doubles for the Griffins only doubles win.
The Huskies took a 2-0 lead as singles play began with Lefevre falling to Dementev 6-2, 6-1 at #1 singles. James Soria defeated Raeymaekers 7-5, 6-0 at #5 singles and Alejandro Higuera defeated Vangenechten 6-3, 6-2 to give the Huskies a 4-0 lead and clinch the match.
Albert Martin made the score 5-0 with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Relecom at #3 singles before the Griffins got on the board with wins at #2 and #6 singles. Puppi defeated Casamitjana  5-7, 6-1, 1-0 (12-10) at #2 singles and Malik defeated Fernando Barros 7-6 (7-1), 1-6, 1-0 (10-7) at #6 singles to make the final score 5-2.
The match concludes the season for the men's tennis team.
