The Chestnut Hill College Men's Soccer team had their three game winning streak snapped on Saturday as nationally ranked Felician University handed the Griffins a 5-0 loss at victory Field in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania.
The Griffins fall to 3-3 overall and 1-1 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference games. The Golden Falcons, ranked #22 in the most recent United Soccer coaches national poll, improve to 3-1-1 overall and 1-0 in league play.
Felician scored three times in the first 20 minutes of action to set the tone for the contest, outshooting the Griffins 13-5 (7-2 on frame)in the half.
The Golden Falcons added a fourth goal in the 63rd minute and scored their final tally on a penalty kick in the 87th minute.
Terrance Doe finished the game with five shots to lead the Griffins with two of the shots on net. Andres Gomez also had two shots on goal for the Griffins.
Rodrigo Artiga made eight saves for the Griffins.
For the game the Golden Falcons held a 23-12 advantage in total shots and a 14-4 advantage in shots on goal.
The men's soccer team returns to action on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 with a match against Washington Adventist University at Victory Field. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
