The Chestnut Hill College Men's Tennis team returned to action Wednesday afternoon, handing Millersville University a 6-1 loss at CHC Tennis Courts.
The Griffins improve to 3-6 overall and 2-1 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference games. Millersville falls to 2-7 overall and 1-3 in PSAC contests.
Chestnut Hill opened the match with a doubles sweep. The doubles team of Noah Cutting and Pablo Cervera opened with a 6-1 win over Sander Wulf and Axel Duclos at #1 doubles. Ewan Brown and Enzo Puppi defeated Adrian Weisser and Paul Bagnouls 6-1 at #2 doubles and Alessio Lefebvre and Siddharth Malik earned a 7-6 (7-5) win over Daniel Ducheyne and Arrav Barti at #3 doubles.
Cutting opened singles play with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Wulf at #1 singles to give the Griffins a 2-0 lead. Cervera followed with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Duclos at #2 singles. Brown then clinched the match for Chestnut Hill, defeating Ducheyne 6-3, 6-1 at #6 singles as the Griffins took a 4-0 lead.
Lefebvre defeated Weisser 6-2, 6-3 at #3 singles and Puppi earned a 6-4, 6-3 win over Milan Urbanik at #4 singles to round out the Griffins singles win. CHC's only loss came at #5 singles as Bagnouls defeated Filippo Relecom 7-5, 6-3
The men's tennis team returns to action on April 11, 2026 when they face area rival Jefferson University in East Fall, Philadelphia. First serve is at 12:00 p.m.
