The Chestnut Hill College men's Tennis team 2025-26 season came to an end Friday morning as Edinboro University defeated the Griffins 4-2 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Semi-Finals held at Bloomsburg University.
The Griffins finish their 2025-26 season with a 7-8 overall mark.
The Fighting Scots won two doubles matches to secure the doubles points and a take a 1-0 lead.  Alessio Lefebvre and Augustin Daubannay lost to Fabricio Sosa Pons and Duarte Correia 6-4 at #3 singles while Noah Cutting and Pablo Cervera fell to Lean Grassnickel and Emiel Tidman 6-2 at #1 doubles.
Cutting tied the score at 12-1 with a decisive 62, 6-1 win over Grassnickel at #1 singles as he improves to 14-1 overall and 13-0 in dual match play on the season. Edinboro then retook the lead as Cervera lost to Sosa Pons, 6-2, 6-3 at #2 singles. Lefebvre scored the Griffins final point with a 6-3, 7-5 win over Correia at #3 singles.
Edinboro clinched the match with wins at #5 and #6 singles as they advanced to the championship match on Saturday.
