Three more school record fell as the Chestnut Hill College Golf team completed their final two rounds at the Thomas Jefferson Fall Invitational/CACC Championship Preview at Jeffersonville Golf Club in Norristown, Pennsylvania.

The Griffins shot 311 and 303 in their final two rounds, giving the team a 54-hole total of 925, finishing in tenth place for the tournament.  Their 925 score breaks the old school record of 928 set back in 2016 at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Region Championship.

Individually Andrew Brendlinger broke the school record for lowest round score shooting a 68 in the final round, one stroke better than the mark of 69 that  Hugo Almeida tied just 20 days earlier.  His third round score of 68, coupled with a 156 mark through 36 holes gives him a 54-hole total of 222, also breaking a school record – this one for the lowest 54-hole total, breaking Rogelio Gerena's score of 225 at the 2024 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference championship

Brendlinger finished in a tie for seventh place, making four birdies and 36 pars over the 54 holes.

Juan Pablo Gonzalez also bettered Fitzpatrick's old mark, shooting a 78 in the final round to finish the tournament with a score of 225, placing him in a tie for 13th place.  Gonzalez recorded four birdies and 34 pars over the 54 holes played.

Kiefer Sharman who was playing as an individual and was not part of the team scoring finished tied for 23rd place with a 54-hole score of 228.  Highlighting Sharman's final day at the tournament was an eagle two on the par-four fifth hole.  He also added two birdies and 33 pars over the 54-holes.

Gerena had his lowest round of the tournament in his final 18-holes of the day, shooting a 78 to finish with a score of 240 and tied for 48th place.

Rounding out the Griffins' five scoring players were Almeida and Trevor Dendler.  Almeida shot a 79 in the final round to finish with a 54-hole total of 244 while Dendler finished with a three round score of 252.

Next up for the Chestnut Hill College golf team will be the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship Tournament held on the very same Jeffersonville Golf Club Course over three days from October 6-8, 2026.
