Biography

SOPHOMORE (2012-2013) - Say finished 14-7 as an individual, playing mostly between number three and number four singles. He also partnered with Yoann Pham (Boulogne-Billancourt, France) at number one doubles for a 15-7 record and a #10 ranking in the ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) East Region. He was named to the CACC All-Tournament Team for his play in the 2013 CACC Men’s Tennis Championship Tournament.

JUNIOR (2013-2014) - Say earned All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Second Team recognition after posting a 12-5 overall record (5-2 @ #3) playing at every spot in the Griffins singles lineup. Say contributed to a 13-9 record at number one doubles, partnering with fellow countryman Yoann Pham (Boulogne-Billancourt, France) for a #6 Regional Ranking from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Say earned the Men’s B Singles Draw crown and reached the Men’s B Doubles final with senior Michael Humes (Mount Laurel, N.J.) at the ITA East Regional Tournament en route to being named the ITA East Region Player to Watch, and also garnered the team’s Coach’s Award at season’s end.

SENIOR (2014-2015) – Say took home a second straight All-CACC Second Team nod as one of the Griffins' top singles players (12-6). He played in the top four individual flights, offering his best performance in the number two slot (6-4); 2-0 @ #1, 2-0 @ #3, 2-1 @ #4), and earning the #18 spot in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Region Individual Rankings. Say teamed with freshman Jonathan Ducretot (Antibes, France) (5-4; 3-1 @ #1, 2-3 @ #2) and fellow senior Michael Humes ’15 (12-3 @ #2) for a 18-8 doubles record. His combined 30-14 mark earned him the team’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) award and earned him his 100th career victory on a 8-2 number two doubles against the University of the Sciences on April 9 (w/ Humes). Say appeared on the on the CACC Weekly Honor Roll on March 31 and April 13 and served as one of the league’s Co-Players of the Week on the April 7 Weekly Report. He was also recognized on both the fall 2014 and spring 2015 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.
