Biography

FRESHMAN (2014) – Adams made a big impact on the inaugural Griffin track season, serving as team captain and helping the Griffins capture a victory (1st of 5, 159 points) in their first-ever appearance in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships. Named the team’s Most Valuable Player (MVP), Adams enjoyed a lot of success in the Griffins first season of competition. He earned the College's first victory with a height of 5-10 in the Men's High Jump at the Albright College Indoor Invitational on February 1, where he jumped for a third-place finish in the Men's High Jump (1.83 Meters). At the CACC Championships, Adams placed third in the High Jump (1.74), fourth in the Long Jump (5.18), the Triple Jump (11.35), and Shot put (6.74), while running another leg on the winning Men's 4x100 Meter Relay team. He also competed in the Javelin and the 200 Meter Dash (10th, 25.79). Adams joined senior Richard Browne, sophomore Manon Purnell, and junior Adam Drabinski to finish 48th (47.15) at the Penn Relays and teamed with Purnell and freshmen Samuel Mondello and Christian Leary to place 14th with an outdoor-best time of 3:42.93 in the 4x400 Meter Relay.

SOPHOMORE (2015) – While serving as a team co-captain, Adams offered seven top-ten finishes. He recorded two of them in the first indoor meet of the season, the St. Joseph’s College Winter Invitational on January 17, with a 4th (1.78m) place finish in the high jump and a 6th (3:59.38) place finish as part of the 4x4 relay team. Later, at the Molloy College Invitational on February 13, he recorded a 9th (1.80m) place finish in the high jump and contributed to a 9th (1:40.51) place finish in the 4x2 relay. Adams scored two other top-ten finishes in the high jump with a height of 1.78 meters earning him 7th place at the Roadrunner Tune-Up on February 20 and a height of 1.73 meters at the Gwynedd-Mercy College Mid-Week Twilight Invitational on April 15. At that same meet, Adams placed 10th (5.50 meters) in the long jump.
