Biography

FRESHMAN (2012-2013) – Saxon was the Griffins stroke leader with a 79.8 stroke average. He recorded three top-five finishes and his best round came as a 73 (+1) on the second day of the Charger Challenge, on October 8, 2012. He tied for fifth place in the two-day event with a combined score of 151 (+7). He finished first overall at the Richard Stockton College Invitational, on April 3, 2013, with a round of 78 (+7), leading the Griffins to their first tournament victory with a team score of 331 (+47).

SOPHOMORE (2013-2014) – Saxon posted a team-best stroke average (80.71) while playing in seven rounds for the Griffins as a sophomore. He shot a day-two 74 (+2) at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship, good for the team’s best round of the season and a tie for eighth place overall (86-74, 160, +16). Saxon was a one-time CACC Weekly Honor Roll mention (4/7).

JUNIOR (2014-2015) – Saxon ranked fourth on the team in average score (80.59) with his best performance (76, +5) tying him for 5th place at the Immaculata University Fall Invitational on October 27. He also recorded top-ten finishes at the Bear Trap Dunes Invitational (T7th, 118, 42-76, +10) on March 13-15 and the Philadelphia Dual Match (7th, 82, +10) on April 7.

SENIOR (2015-2016) – Saxon participated in three tournaments and offered a 76.5 stroke average in those events. He placed eighth at the Charger Challenge on September 28 with a round of 77 (+5) at Suffern, New York’s Spook Rock Golf Course. His low round was a 76 (+4), recorded at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Fall Invitational (ACE Club, Lafayette Hill, PA).
