Biography
JUNIOR (2014-2015) – Boyle transferred from Concord University to post an 11-4 singles record and an 11-9 doubles standing, playing at various spots in the lineups. He played at all six singles flights (1-0 @ #1 singles, 0-1 @ #2 singles, 1-0 @ #3 singles, 2-0 @ #4 singles, 2-1 @ #5 singles, and 3-1 @ #6 singles), splitting his 11 victories between dual (9-3) and tournament (2-1) play. In doubles, Boyle offered a 1-0 mark in tournament play with Sammy Atri ’15 and 10-9 record playing in dual matches with Devin Hampton ’15 (4-2), Michael Humes ’15, and freshman Jonathan Ducretot (Antibes, France) between number two and number three doubles. He earned recognition on the March 24 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Weekly Honor Roll and was also a member of the Chestnut Hill College Spring 2015 Athletics Academic Honor Roll.
SENIOR (2015-2016) – In his first season as team co-captain, Boyle complied an 18-9 (.667) doubles record that included a 3-1 (.750) run with sophomore Daniel Awad (Cartagena, Colombia) in the Men’s B Doubles Draw of the United States Tennis Association (USTA)/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Regionals and a 12-6 (.667) record playing alongside Kevin Taylor ’16 at number three doubles (11-6, .647 match play). Individually, Boyle finished 13-6 (.684) splitting time between number two (1-0, 1.000), number three (2-0, 1.000), number four (1-1, .500), number five (1-0, 1.000), and number six (6-3, .667) singles. He was also a member of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Spring 2016 All-Academic Team.
