Chestnut Hill College Athletics

FRESHMAN (2012) – Purnell ran in five meets with his best time in the eight-kilometer (8K) coming at the Gettysburg College Invitational on October 13, 31:39 (316^th). He was the Griffins only male runner at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship Meet on October 21, he ran 50^th with a time of 34:24.

SOPHOMORE (2013) – Purnell ran in the Griffins top five at all six meets, posting a top 8K time of 31:48 at the College Track Conference Championship on October 19.

JUNIOR (2014) – Purnell participated in the last three meets of the season with his best time coming with a 287^th (31:53.4) place finish at the Gettysburg College Invitational on October 18. He also ran 60^th (33:32) at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship Meet on November 2, and 174^th (40:06.0) at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II East Regional on November 22.

SENIOR (2015) – Purnell participated in all six events, offering his best effort at the Bryn Athyn Invitational on October 3; he placed 10^th in the 8K run with a time of 31:57.0. He also placed 63^rd (36:37.1) at the Philadelphia Metro Meet (9/12, 8K), 70^th (35:11.59) at the Bill Fritz/Charlie Way Memorial Invitational (9/19, 8K), 38^th (20:12.20) at the Cougar Chase Invitational (10/17, 5K), 61^st (33:35.60) at the CACC Championship Meet (10/25, 8K), and 183^rd (40:29.20) at the NCAA East Regionals (11/8, 10K).
