Chestnut Hill College Athletics

FRESHMAN (2015-2016) – Kohler as the ITA East Region's #4 individual, Kohler garnered the ITA East Region Rookie of the Year title, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Year award, an All-CACC First Team selection, and the team's Most Valuable Player (MVP) designation on the merits of a 24-2 (.923) singles record (15-1 @ #2, .938) and a 20-10 (.667) doubles record (14-9 w/ Ducretot @ #1, .609), which helped he and Ducretot to a #6 slotting in the ITA East Region and an appearance on the CACC All-Tournament Team. He was a two-time CACC Player of the Week (4/18, 3/7) and six-time CACC Rookie of the Week (4/18, 4/11, 3/28, 3/7, 2/29, 2/22). Kohler also garnered academic recognition on both the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.

SOPHOMORE (2016-2017) – Kohler headlined Chestnut Hill College's success for the second straight year. Alongside senior Jonathan Ducretot (Antibes, France), he reached the doubles quarterfinal round of the ITA East Regional Championships with a pair of 8-4 wins over University of the District of Columbia (UDC) duos (W, 8-4 over Pinto/Baugelin and W, 8-4 over Bozic/Feligioni). The sophomore finished the 2016-2017 campaign with a 16-5 individual record that included a 13-2 mark at number one singles, and a program record, 21-3 doubles alongside Ducretot. The duo placed #1 in the final Oracle/ITA DII East Region Rankings of the season (May 24). Kohler was a two-time CACC Men's Tennis Player of the Month (10/5, 11/2), a two-time CACC Men’s Tennis Weekly Honor Roll mention (3/6, 4/3), and a four-time CACC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week (3/13, 3/27, 4/10, 4/17). He also was selected for the CACC All-Tournament Team and the team’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. Academically, he earned membership on both the fall 2016 and spring 2017 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls and a recipient of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Academic Team and Scholar Athlete Awards.
