Chestnut Hill College Athletics

FRESHMAN (2014) – Sharp was the Griffins everyday centerfielder, starting all 34 contests while scoring a team-high 16 runs on only a .163 (16-for-98) batting average. She recorded a double, a triple, and her first collegiate homerun for a .224 slugging percentage (SLG%). She drew a team-high 15 walks to post a .297 on-base percentage (OBP) and record a team-high seven steals (7SB-7ATT).

SOPHOMORE (2015) – Sharp (35gp-33gs) served as the Griffins’ starting center fielder, offering a .171 (13-for-76) batting average, a .250 slugging percentage, and a .232 on-base percentage on nine singles, two doubles, two triples, and four walks. She scored four runs and knocked in three while stealing two bases (2-of-3, .666).

JUNIOR (2016) – Sharp (46gp-35gs) was a consistent contributor for the Griffins, batting .218 (17-for-78), slugging .244 and posting an on-base percentage of .291. She tallied two doubles and seven walks, and ranked second on the team with five steals. Sharp earned recognition on the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Fall 2015 and spring 2016 Academic Honor Roll.

SENIOR (2017) – Sharp (36gp-34gs) was a key component for the Griffins as a starting outfielder. She was second for Chestnut Hill College in batting- average (.300), slugging-percentage (.411), and on-base percentage (.400). Of those hits she posted 13 runs, 27 hits, which included four doubles, three triples, and 13 RBI. Sharp’s contributions to her team earned her a Coaches’ Award at the Annual Awards Reception.  Academically, she placed on the fall and spring Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls and earned the D2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement award.
