FRESHMAN (2016-2017) – Mayer finished his first season with an 83.8 stroke average. He competed in 11 tournaments, twice scoring an 82 (+10) in one-day events at the ACE Club; Mayer tied for 25th (82, +10) at the Philadelphia University Invitational (10/4) and placed 15th (82, +10) at the Philadelphia Tri Match #5, six months later (4/4). He enjoyed one other top-20 finish, tying for 13th (83, +13) at the Griffin Invitational (10/18).

JUNIOR (2018-2019) – Mayer served as a team captain and was one of two student-athletes to compete in all 16 rounds (11 Tournaments). His 79.6 stroke average placed him third on the team and earned him individual victories at the Jefferson Fall Invitational (72, +2 on September 5) and the Swarthmore College/Neumann University Invitational (76, +5 on March 24). Mayer’s victory at the Jefferson Fall Tri-Match helped Chestnut Hill College open the season with a first place finish (1st of 3, 317, +29) as they edged out Cabrini College (2nd of 3, 318, +30) by a single stroke. For his effort, he was respectively rewarded with the CACC Golf Player of the Week title (9/12).
