Biography
FRESHMAN (2014-2015) – Regalin offered a 7-12 singles record with a 3-4 tournament record and a 4-8 dual match standing; 0-1 @ #2, 1-4 @ #3, 1-2 @ #4, 2-0 @ #5, and 0-1 @ #6. In doubles, he partnered with sophomore Pedro Oranges de Figueredo (Sao Paulo, Brazil) for a 5-2 record (3-1 @ #3, 2-1 tournament) before joining freshman Lucas Bocaletto (Itatiba, Brazil) for a 15-8 record (12-8 @ #1, 3-0 tournament) as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Region’s #8 pairing. He was recognized as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week on February 16 after teaming with Bocaletto for a 3-0 run at the Ranger Invitational.
SOPHOMORE (2015-2016) – Regalin offered a 4-7 (.364) individual record, primarily playing in the third singles flight (3-5, .375). He also paired with fellow Brazilian and classmate, Lucas Bocaletto (Itatiba, Brazil) for a 12-8 (.600) number two doubles standing that garnered the duo a #9 position among the elite ITA East Region doubles teams. Regalin was 13-9 (.591) overall in doubles play. He also garnered academic recognition on both the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.
JUNIOR (2016-2017) – Regalin played various positions in the Griffin lineup, offering an 8-3 singles record with appearances in the number four (1-0), number five (3-0), and number six (4-3) flights. His collaborative efforts alongside junior Lucas Bocalleto (Itatiba, Brazil) ranked the duo as high as #9 on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Region Rankings (3/15). Academically, he earned membership on both the fall 2016 and spring 2017 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls, the Division II (DII) Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Awards, the 2016-2017 CACC Men’s Tennis All-Academic Team, and the ITA Scholar Athlete awards.
SENIOR (2017-2018) – Regalin enjoyed a strong senior season with 20 wins between singles and doubles play and all-tournament honors. He went 11-8 in singles at the fourth position and 3-1 in the CACC. Regalin reeled in the first CACC Player of the Week (April 9) honor of his collegiate career. The senior and Bocaletto concluded their collegiate careers as Chestnut Hill College's most successful doubles pair with more than 50 wins as pair. Academically he placed on the CACC All-Academic team and was a member of the fall and spring Chestnut Hill College Honor Rolls.
