Biography


FRESHMAN (2017) – Neals had a spectacular debut season as a Griffin, earning a CACC Women’s Cross-Country Rookie of the Week title and playing a hand in the team’s historic runs. Some of her early accomplishments included a 25th place run of 26:05.06 at the University of Delaware Invitational and a 114th with a time of 25:17 at the Lehigh University's 44th Annual Paul Short Invitational.  Neals (5th, 25:50.00) was one of three who paced the Griffin's second-place trophies at the Millersville University's Battle for the Buggy, on October 7; because of her efforts she garnered the CACC Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week title. At the CACC Women's Cross Country Championship, on Sunday, October 22, the Griffins put on a historic performance with a fourth place (4th of 13, 133 points) finish and Neals finished among the top-25 with a time of 21:31.8.  In the last meet of the season (NCAA East Region Championship) on Saturday, November 4, Neals crossed the finish line 103rd (26:43.3).
