Chestnut Hill College Athletics

FRESHMAN (2016) – Zigmund had an impressive debut season, reporting top-10 finishes in his first two events; he placed eighth (18:04.9) in a five-kilometer (5K) run at the Philadelphia Metro Meet (9/10) and 10^th (30:33.4) in an eight-kilometer (8K) race at the Queensborough Community College Invitational (9/18). Fisher also earned academic recognition at the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Spring 2017 Academic Honor Roll.

SOPHOMORE (2017) – Fisher had another exceptional season, this time as a captain for the Griffins. He started his historic campaign  at the Misericordia University Invitational on September 1, where Fisher earned his first CACC Men's Cross Country Weekly Honor Roll mention of the season, powering the Griffins to a third place finish (3rd of 9, 107 points) with his second place (5K) (2nd, 16:14.3) effort.  Next, the Scarlet and Gold traveled to Newark, Delaware, for the University of Delaware Invitational where Chestnut Hill College finished 4th of 10 teams with 87 total points. Fisher again earned CACC Men's Cross Country Weekly Honor Roll accolades for his performance, headlining five Griffins who crossed the finish line among the top-33 participants in eight-kilometer (8K) run; his second straight top-10 run (6th, 28:01.47). Next, Fisher accomplished a record-setting, eight-kilometer (8K) run of 26:28 (19th) at the Millersville University's Battle for the Buggy (10/7). Fisher's 8K time of 27:48.00 earned him another second place finish and a third CACC Men's Cross Country Weekly Honor Roll appearance on Sunday, October 22, at the CACC Championship Meet.
