Biography

FRESHMAN (2018-2019) – Lemieux was the top shooter for the 2018-2019 season as he earned Most Valuable Player (MVP) award and sported a team-low 76.9 stroke average over nine tournaments. He placed among the top-10 in all but two of the nine tournaments (14 rounds) in which he competed, earning himself five Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week/Month awards (9/12, 9/19, 9/27, 10/10, 4/4) and the individual tournament crown at the University of the Sciences (USciences) Devils Classic (78-75; 153, +11 on March 28-29). Lemieux’s first CACC Rookie of the Week honor came after his first collegiate competition as a round of 81 (+9) tied him for seventh place at the Jefferson Fall Tri-Match (September 5). He continued to earn the title of the following four weeks with respective ties for fifth (77, +6), eighth (74, +2), and fourth place (71-77; 148, +8) in the Swarthmore College/Neumann University’s Frederick W. Anton III Memorial (September 16), American International College (AIC) Fall Invitational (September 22-23), and the CACC Championship (September 30 – October 1); the last of which also earned Lemieux a spot on the CACC All-Tournament Team. Lemieux’s success continued in the spring with a March that included a second place (77, +6) effort at the Swarthmore College/Neumann University Spring Invitational (March 24) and his individual crown at the Devils Classic (March 28-29), and garnered him the CACC Golf Rookie of the Month award. Academically, Lemieux earned recognition on both the fall 2018 and spring 19, Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.
