A tradition that began in 2004, Move-In Day asks members of the Chestnut Hill College men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis, and women's volleyball teams to lend a hand to the incoming class of freshmen. Each team takes two hours of their preseason schedule time to assist the newest pride of Griffins get settled into their new homes. Starting at 8:00 a.m. and working in shifts until 2:00 p.m., the student-athletes lug bags, bins, refrigerators, microwaves, televisions, athletic equipment, snacks, and much more – sometimes up several floors – to make move-in that much easier for their fellow Griffins.
