Biography
FRESHMAN (2016) – Morris competed in all six events, offering two top-20 finishes. The first was a 20th place (18:49.6) effort in the five-kilometer (5K) run at the Philadelphia Metro Meet (9/10). The second was an eighth place (30:30.4) finish at the Queensborough Community College Invitational (9/18, 8K). He was the Griffins’ top performer at the Gettysburg College Invitational (10/15, 8K), placing 57th with a time of 27:52.0. The freshman was recognized with the Men’s Cross Country Coach’s Award at the annual Chestnut Hill College Athletics Awards Reception.
SOPHOMORE (2017) – Morris competed in five competitions offering an 11th (17:08.1) place finish in the 5K at the Misericordia University Invitational (9/1) and a season-best 25:56.51 (14th, 8K) at the University of Delaware invitational (9/16). During the NCAA East Regional on November 4, he logged a 36:20.7 (68th) in the 10K.
