Chestnut Hill College Athletics

FRESHMAN (2013) – Mondello fronted the Griffin effort in all but the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) East Regional en route to being named the team’s Most Valuable Player (MVP). Mondello logged four top-20 finishes, placing a season-best 12^th at both the Philadelphia Metro Meet (29:37) on September 21 and the Goldey-Beacom College Fall Classic (30:39.08) on October 5. His best eight-kilometer (8K) time (27:39) came in an 18^th-place showing at the College Track Conference Championship on October 19. Mondello was recognized academically on the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Roll (Fall 2013).

SOPHOMORE (2014) – Mondello turned another quality season, serving as the Griffins’ top finisher at the Queensborough Community College Invitational (3^rd, 27:57.8) on September 14 and the Gettysburg College Invitational (47^th, 27:47.7) on October 18, which set a new program record for eight-kilometer (8K) races. He also ran 14^th (30:54) at the Philadelphia Metro Meet on September 27, 49^th (27:32) at the Paul Short Invitational on October 4, and 44^th (31:50) at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship Meet on November 2. Mondello also earned recognition on the CACC Fall 2014 All-Academic Team and the Chestnut Hill College Spring 2015 Athletic Academic Honor Roll.

JUNIOR (2015) – Mondello did not participate in any events, but earned academic recognition on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Fall 2015 All-Academic Team and both the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.

SENIOR (2016) – Mondello did not participate in any events, but earned academic recognition on both the fall 2016 and spring 2017 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls, the 2016 CACC Men’s Cross Country All-Academic Team, and the Division II (DII) Athletic Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Awards.
