Biography
FRESHMAN (2013-2014) – O’Donnell tied for the team lead with 14 rounds played as a rookie, posting an 84.64 stroke average. He was a three-time Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week (3/17, 3/24, and 4/7) and finished 20th overall at the CACC Championship. His top two rounds of the season came at the Goldey-Beacom Invitational, where he fired a 79 (+7) and a 78 (+6) on consecutive days to finish 23rd in a field of 55 golfers, and he tied for 10th (82, +10) at the Griffin Invitational on October 15, 2013.
SOPHOMORE (2014-2015) – O’Donnell appeared in four tournaments, offering the team’s seventh-best average score (82.43). His best performance (81, +11) came at the Spring Griffin Invitational where he tied for 27th place. He also placed 9th at the Philadelphia Dual Match (85, +13) on April 7.
JUNIOR (2015-2016) – O’Donnell participated in six tournaments and offered a pair of top 10 finishes with his efforts at Ursinus College’s Revolutionary Collegiate Classic (76-84, 160, +16, 9th, Patriot's Glen National Golf Club, Elkton, MD) on October 11-12 and the Philadelphia University Tri-Match #2 (81, +9, T6th, ACE Club, Lafayette Hill, PA) on October 18. He finished the season with an 81.9 stroke average.
SENIOR (2016-2017) – The senior finished his Chestnut Hill College career with 80.3 stroke average over 10 tournaments. O’Donnell placed among the top-10 on the leaderboard at the Revolutionary Collegiate Classic (T6th, 75-79, +13), helping the Griffins to their second straight tournament crown. He also enjoyed top-20 finishes at the Moravian College Fall Invitational (T14th, 79, +7), the Charger Challenge (20th, 78-81, 159, +15), the Philadelphia University Invitational (T18th, 79, +7), the Charger Classic (T20th, 86, +14), and the Philadelphia Tri Match #5 (T11th, 79, +7).
