Eric McNamee

Eric McNamee joined the Chestnut Hill College golf coaching staff amidst the 2011-2012 season and has served as the Head Coach since the fall of 2012. A member of the Professional Golf Association, McNamee possesses an extensive resume which includes stops at several local and national country clubs over the past 20 years.
 
McNamee also functions as the Teaching Professional at Golf Galaxy in Montgomeryville, PA. McNamee is directly responsible for all the teaching programs including Private Lessons, Video Analysis, Junior Camps and Clinics, and Club Fitting. Prior to working at Golf Galaxy, McNamee was the PGA Head Professional at Stonewall (2007-2011).  McNamee’s work history also includes Chester Valley as the First Assistant Golf Professional (2002-2006).  He has held similar positions at Champions Gate Golf Resort (2000-2001) in Orlando, Florida, Atlantic City Country Club (1998-2000), and Marriott’s Seaview Golf Resort (1997-1998). He began his career locally, serving as the Golf Shop Assistant at Gulph Mills Golf Club in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, from 1994-1996.
 
McNamee received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at LaSalle University in 1997, where he was a four year scholarship athlete in golf. He also was the team’s Captain for his junior and senior year where he won 2 collegiate events. He also led the Division I Explorers as the team’s number 1 player for 3 seasons. 
 
Currently, he lives in Harleysville, Pennsylvania with his wife Kimberly and their 5 children.
